I have been riding motorcycle for about 30 years.
Over the years I have ridden on 500 cc to 1800cc Yamaha's,
Goldwing's, and Harley's; from North Carolina to
Canada and in between! I have been
instructing Motorcycle Riders Education Courses in Maine for 5 years. Three years
prior to
being
certified, I completed the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) teaching course.
This helped me to
learn the skills
needed to be a good instructor. I presently work for
Maine Department of
Transportation as a mechanic in the Oakfield Camp.
The equipment used in the Basic class is provided by Gary's Yamaha of Caribou and Harry's Honda
of Presque Isle through manufacture promotion. At the end of the year I have the option to
return them to the manufacturer for resale or buy them
to use with my classes.
